Emergency Rental Assistance Program| ESG COVID 19
The City of Lawrence will be utilizing its CARES Act Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) COVID 19 funding allocation to provide homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing emergency rental assistance to low income Lawrence residents who are housing insecure as a direct result of the COVID 19 pandemic. This program is in partnership with Greater Lawrence Community Action Council
RAFT & ERMA
RAFT (Rental Assistance For Families In Transition)
(ERMA) The Emergency Rental And Mortgage Assistance Program
GLCAC partners with Community Team work to complete RAFT and ERMA applications.
RAFT and ERMA are funded by the Massachusetts Department of Housing & Community Development provides up to $4,000 of direct funding to eligible households.
ERMA can help to fund payments with rent or mortgage arrears accrued no earlier than April 1, 2020 or upcoming rent or mortgage payments.
In Order To Be Eligible For ERMA, A Household Must:
· Currently Rent Or Own Housing As A Primary Residence In Massachusetts
· Have A Gross Household Income That Is Between The 50% And 80% Area Median Income (AMI)

CONTINUUM OF CARE PROGRAM
BALANCE OF STATE
GLCAC has a contract with the Balance of State to provide housing and support to those qualified individuals for the housing program.;
Who is eligible? Homeless individuals and families with a disabling condition and a long term need for ongoing help to get and maintain housing are eligible for Permanent Supportive Housing.
GLCAC is a contracted coordinated entry location. To apply for the CoC you need to make an appointment with Luz De La Cruz.
To apply for state-aided public housing, you must use the Common Housing Application for Massachusetts Public Housing (CHAMP). You can apply using CHAMP either online at our CHAMP website, or in person by completing a printed paper application.
HOME Program |Town of North Andover
Edibility must be at or below 60% of AMI, preference for residents of North Andover, or those working in North Andover. Up to 12 months rental assistance or assistance with security deposit.
