Believe in the Blue Health & Wellness Fair
The Michael B. Christensen Community & Family Support Center had their 1st Annual Believe in the Blue Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, June 23, 2012. It was held at the North Common in Lawrence, MA. There were over 20 local vendors ranging from child care centers, local businesses, mental health services, gyms, YMCA, dental clinics, etc. The CFSC staff along with the Believe in the Blue Sub-Committee Co-Chairs Tricia Lawler and Kat Anderson put together a wonderful event. Over 150 families attended. Free food, literacy book bags, books, balloons, outreach materials, and pins, were given out at the event. Many volunteers from the community helped out to make this event a success.5 photos
