WIC’s goal is to help keep pregnant , postpartum and breastfeeding women infants and kids under age 5 healthy. To do this, WIC provides:

- Tips for eating well to improve health.
- Breastfeeding support/ Infant feeding and care issues.
- Child feeding and care issues.
- Discussion on food shopping and recipes.
- WIC also distributes coupons for fresh produce, redeemable at farmer’s markets during the summer months.

But that's not all! WIC offers immunization screening and referrals to doctors, health centers and clinics, dentists and programs like Food Stamps, TAFDC, MassHealth (Medicaid), Healthy Start, Early Intervention, Children's Medical Security Plan, Child Support Services, daycare and fuel assistance, etc..
