The Mass. Electric Appliance Management Program is funded by Mass. Electric.
You have to have lived in your place of residence for one year, have an R-2 rating on your bill, and use more than 1o KWH per day to be eligible.
An Energy Manager will review your electric usage especially your refrigerator. If your refrigerator of freezer is a high energy guzzler, Mass. Electric may replace it for free.
If you have a water bed mattress, Mass. Electric may replace it with a regular mattress for free if you choose.
The Energy Manager will bring energy saving light bulbs and water conservation devices and information on you can save on your electric bill.
