The Vision of the Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force is to substantially reduce underage drinking and access to alcohol by minors.
The SAPTF is a group of concerned community members, public officials, providers, parents and youth that focuses on the reduction of underage drinking and access to alcohol by minors in the Lawrence area.
Mission
SAPTF’s mission is to promote a safe, healthy, and substance abuse free environment that supports positive youth, family, and community development. By development and implementation of planned strategies that identify the distinctive community factors that contribute to high risk behaviors and inform families and the community of the dangers and related consequences of underage drinking while promoting the healthy development of youth, their families and our community.
