Program Description
| The Heating Energy Assistance Retrofit Task Weatherization Assistance Program (HEARTWAP) is an emergency program to help homeowners on LIHEAP( fuel assistance), who meet income or crisis guidelines, repair or replace their heating systems. The program is funded through the US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and monitored by the Commonwealth's Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and implemented by GLCAC, Inc. |

Homeowners experiencing no-heat situations or excessively high heating
bills due to inefficient or malfunctioning heating systems qualify for services such as:
