Three area nonprofit organizations hosted their annual Blue Ribbon Recognition and Silent Auction fundraiser Wednesday at the Guest House Suites in Methuen.  The Exchange Clubs of the Merrimack Valley, the Greater Lawrence Community Action Council and the Michael B. Christensen Family Support Center honored the many local residents and businesses that raised thousands of dollars for the Blue Ribbon Campaign.  Proceeds from the event benefit the Support Center, which works with at-risk families and children sponsors prevention programs.  The center is named after the late Michael Christensen, a past president of the Exchange Club and Blue Ribbon Campaign co-chairman.
