Collaboration is a long process but through the efforts of the individuals concerned about the early care and education of young children, positive outcomes will happen. In all communities we work with the Early Intervention agencies and the public schools on easing the transition to preschool, to kindergarten and to first grade.  Events such as orientation nights, satellite registration locations, move up day where children visit the location of their new site and other special occasions that welcome the parent and the child into the next program/school are discussed and planned through our Collaboration with School Readiness Committees.

Community Partnerships for Children Program has assisted member centers/FCC providers, in the past, with purchasing playground equipment, materials and books for the classrooms, installing sinks in classrooms and other upgrades to facilities that were needed thus enhancing the quality of the programs.
