The Greater Lawrence Community Action Council Inc. Child Care Center is a full year, full day program. The center has been in operation since 1971. The Center is designed to meet the community’s needs. The goal of the Center is to support the family in educating and caring for its children while the parents work, attend school or training programs, or through the direct referrals from the Department of Social Services. The center services 253 children ranging in ages of 15 months to 11 years of age. The program is non-profit and fully licensed and funded by The Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC), is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and a recipient of the Universal Pre-K Grant in recognition of high standards and quality. We value our families and sponsors several family events throughout the year. All of the Center’s families are welcome to join the Parent Committee which meets bi-monthly. The Child Care Center has provided quality care for over 36 years!
