A child is eligible for our Kindergarten Program if he/she will be 5 years old by September 1^st of that calendar year. The program is designed to prepare children for success in first grade through developmentally appropriate activities that include language and literacy, social studies, science, early math skills, and creative expression. The Breakthrough to Literacy Program is used to enhance the Language and Literacy portion of the curriculum. The kindergarten program follows the MA Department of Education’s standards and learning guidelines. Through developing a positive self esteem and a love of learning, the program is geared toward school readiness.
